Who we are
Mythic Horizons Travel (“MHT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates mythichorizonstravel.com. This policy explains the personal information that may be collected when you visit the site, use the planning calendar, or communicate with MHT.
Information we collect
Website visits
Our hosting provider may process routine technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and security or server-log data.
The site does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or an email-newsletter signup. Public comments and visitor account registration are not enabled.
Planning inquiries and appointments
The Start Planning page links to an external TidyCal booking calendar. If you request an appointment, TidyCal may collect your name, email address, selected time and timezone, invited guests, trip type, anticipated travel dates, travel-party composition, trip goals, preferred contact method, how you heard about MHT, and other answers you choose to provide.
The booking form also invites information that may be personal or sensitive, including comfort being openly LGBTQ+ in new destinations, family details, and travel needs. Please provide only what you are comfortable sharing and what is reasonably necessary for the planning conversation. Do not submit passport numbers, payment-card details, or other financial credentials through the scheduling form.
TidyCal is operated by Sumo Group Inc. Its booking form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA. TidyCal and Google process information under their own policies. You can review the TidyCal Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links
The Tools for the Journey page contains an affiliate disclosure. Some links may generate compensation for MHT at no additional cost to the traveler. The site does not currently use a sitewide affiliate-tracking script. If you follow an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may use its own cookies or tracking on its website under its own privacy policy.
Third-party content and services
The Terms of Use page includes content provided through Travel Industry Solutions. Third-party content may allow that provider to receive technical information such as IP address, browser details, and interaction data. If you choose a phone or video appointment, the relevant communications provider may also process information needed to connect the meeting.
How we use information
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
- To respond to inquiries and schedule planning conversations
- To understand the requested trip, preferences, and practical needs
- To communicate about requested services and, if you become a client, support the travel-planning relationship
- To maintain appropriate business records and meet legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations
How information may be shared
Information may be processed by service providers that help MHT operate, including Bluehost/Newfold for website hosting, TidyCal for scheduling, Google reCAPTCHA for spam prevention on TidyCal, Travel Industry Solutions for its embedded content, and the phone or video provider selected for a meeting.
If you ask MHT to research or arrange travel, relevant information may also be shared with travel suppliers or service partners as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, prepare options, or provide requested services. MHT may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the site, visitors, clients, or MHT.
MHT does not sell personal information as part of its ordinary business.
Cookies and similar technologies
The MHT site currently uses only functionality associated with WordPress, site administration, hosting, and security; it does not run visitor analytics or advertising technology. WordPress may set login or administrative cookies for authorized users. External services may use their own cookies when you visit them, and embedded third-party content may load resources from its provider.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect some site or third-party functions.
Data retention
MHT keeps inquiry and appointment information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active client relationship, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Hosting, scheduling, and other service providers maintain information according to their own retention practices.
International processing
MHT and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Privacy protections and legal requirements can differ by location.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. These rights may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.
To make a privacy request concerning information held by MHT, use the contact method on the Start Planning page and state that your message concerns privacy. For information held directly by TidyCal or another provider, contact that provider through its privacy process.
Children’s information
The site is intended for adults. MHT does not knowingly ask children to submit information directly. An adult planning family travel may provide limited information about children in the travel party; please share only what is necessary and only when you have authority to do so.
Security
MHT uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the site and the information handled. No website, email, or online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the site, services, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will show the most recent revision.
